Just a quickie

I went to Glastonbury at the weekend, it was Autumn Equinox as you know, and I celebrated atop the Tor. It was wonderful.

Without placing a millstone around my neck I am going to post about the Goddess Experience next. I want to account for my feelings in Avalon. Not much chance of that going up before thursday but I will do my best.

I would take every anorexic, bullimic young girl who is tied up with the utter crap that gets peddled in the media about feminine beauty, and take them to the Goddess Temple in Glastonbury. Take them to sit among all the icons of real female beauty; full breasts, rounded bellies, welcoming thighs: And throw all that size zero nonsense in the garbage where it belongs. So so good to be surrounded by real femininity where we as women are encouraged to take our place in the World instead of wasting away to nothing.

Coming soon!

There's a size zero? Really? That makes me laugh. It makes me think of Spinal Tap;

"But, these amps go up to eleven."

"what's so special about eleven?"

"Well, it's one more than ten, isn't it."

Just catching up from a few days ago. Spock?? Not even the doctor or the captain or Scotty, but Spock? Must be the pointy ears.

Sounds Fab! Can't wait to hear more.

Craig: Unfortunately there is! Its the UK Size 4 and to be one you have to have the waist measurements of the average 7 year old girl. What message does that give vulnerable women? It is rather Spinal Tap - although dieting to be Size zero means that the spine is about all that is left!

Wakeup: Absolutely! Spock, the unfathomable, logical, super intelligent, mysterious, one. Understated yet steeped in mystical tradition. Scotty = grizzly, Captain Kirk - well yes, he was also a bit of a fantasy but not in Spock's league, as for the Doctor - eewwww. Not my cup of Sorian Brandy!

Vi: Will be along shortly!

Spock seems to be quite popular in blogland tonight.

Liked your post. Maybe you should take a group of annorexic kids there?

So sorry for being remiss and not replying. As you know its swotting time for me, and blogging has had to go on the shelf for the time being.

Kahless: Spock is an iconic figure! All young girls should go to the Goddess temple. I must take my daughter!

Chopski: Tis true Chopsk - and not one of those wierd deoderants in sight.

Wakeup: Thank you so much for the award. I will sort all awards and blogs stuff out after next saturday when the millstone around my neck finally lifts.

DJ: Thank you for the award too - I am really chuffed. Yes it is the most lovely place. Glad you have experienced it too.

Exmoor: Goddesses rock! The further away from size zero the better!

Lady in Red: Hi, wave wave - glad to have you stop by. I am usually much more active than I have been recently so stop by again - and I shall return the favour after my exam.
