I am the High Priestess

You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

What you too? Why do our cards look so different? You done your exam yet? If not good luck and if yes then I hope it went well!

hi QV, so sorry you have a bad cold. I love that you are the high priestees, couldn't think of a more apt tarot card for you.

When I did the test, it came up with the Sun card for me, which felt really warming and affirming.

It might also have something to do with answering the "what is your favourite colour?" question with "all of them." And I can think of a few more heavenly bodies than the ones listed ;).

Thank you for posting the test and I hope you feel better soon.

Big hugs

Hey QV, how are you today? Something tells me you may be feeling happy, and with reason ;).

I have been so inspired by re-reading Women Who Run with the Wolves. I would love to know which ones were your special fave stories.

big hugs

Hi Guys

Thanks for all your good wishes. I passed, but I dont think I passed as I wanted to. My examiners said that I had bought a complex piece of work. I did. I bought a profound piece of work. Something that was rather incredible. I did not adhere to standard technique, or follow ordinary pathways - I did something that was intuitive, intelligent and showed flair and understanding. As a result I was questioned at a very detailed and 'concept' level. All my preparation which showed my knowledge and skill, was a waste of time. My examiners were not interested in how much I knew of the theory and how I could use it. They were only interested in why I left the 'maternal introject' on the chair, and how I could justify switching methods during a piece. Well intuition cannot really be callibrated and what my client achieved during thatt piece was amazing. That is worth more than all the 'driving test' standard mirror, signal manoevre crap. My collegue who was examined at the same time, bought a simplistic peice of tape, and employed very simple counselling techniques. As a result he achieved full marks - I did not. So I passed but I failed, if you get my drift.

I know what I do works - not sure its conventional therapy.

Woops, managed to delete my comment by accident. Boy, my Try Hard is in overdrive tonight, must be all this case study writing lol.

Congratulations on passing Queen Vixen, even if you didn't get all you wanted from the exam, you still passed.

Some people pass exams because they are good at sitting exams and at giving the examiner what they want. That is bound to be irksome for those who perceive and explore their work on a deeper and more complex level.

I would suggest that the complexity of your piece demonstrates that you are way beyond diploma level in your practice.

I want to stroke you for sticking to the way you work, even if it doesn't fit the "driving test" style of therapy exam.

Intuition is so hard to calibrate. Maybe you could write a piece on "TA, Intuition and Tarot." TA really needs some more witchiness and swishing gowns and boots lol.

Ideally, psychotherapy is not about following the crowd, but being original in thought and feeling and true to yourself. For me, that is the burning desire which makes this work worthwhile.

Kahless: I have always got something myterious up my sleeve.

Dj: I picked the 'fantasy' deck - looks like you went for Oriental. Exam is all passed as you know.

Hull and Bobo: Awww bless - both the sun, both Leo's!

Chopski: Go on! Never, you the Devil, nah :o)

L-q-s: Interesting that you are the Heirophant - boundaried by tradition and structure. You wont be that one forever!

Pix: The heirophant is way better than the Tower - as you know!

Hull: My favourite story is BlueBeard. Oh my Goodness - that one is so so scary and so so chillingly acurate. Thank you so much for your words - yes witchy stuff and TA, it needs doing!
