Jelly Babies

I must stop eating jelly babies. I always begin like a frenzied shark - snaffling and chomping. Then when the stomach finally registers that there is an excess of gelatin, sugar and psychedelic food colouring its too late and I feel sick as a dog.

Groan!

I like the orange ones - how about you?

Smiling at the idea of a frenzied shark eating jelly babies.

I am guessing they would have to be shark sized jelly babies, otherwise there would be no sport in biting their heads off.

Orange ones are my favourite; natural, flavoursome, almost like biting into an orchard full of oranges (I did say almost).

Orange for me too. It's a long time since I had jelly babies - I eat plenty of chocolate but very rarely other sweets. Might have to get some jelly babies as a rare treat now that you've mentioned them...

Haribo does the same for me. Particularly the really sugary varieties you can buy in france.

If your jelly babies are like the jelly bellies that we have in the US (pun intended!), then I like the white ones. I can't for the life of me figure out what flavor they are supposed to be, but they are sort marshmallow-ey tasting. I don't really care for the fruit flavored ones.

I just have to eat the odd ones until there is the same number of every colour then have one of each until ooopps no more jellie babies and I tend to eat the head first then nibble them can last quite a while that way but I do have to hide them or the kids will have them all.
